F\u00fcr eine Handvoll Goldstaub leisten die kolumbianischen Arbeiter untertage Schwerstarbeit. Dr\u00f6hnende Bohrer, Schwei\u00df und die klaustrophobische Enge der Sch\u00e4chte: El Peso del Oro folgt der Spur des Goldes und gr\u00e4bt sich dabei tief in die Ausbeutung von K\u00f6rper und Natur. Yves-Maurice Itzek, Milosz Zmiejewski und Oscar Diaz begeben sich auch r\u00e4umlich ans unterste Ende der kapitalistischen Profit-Kette, und damit an die Wurzel eines globalen Problems.
